Force Range

How to Use
- Select the correct tester tip (pin tip for male pins, socket tip for female sockets).
- Insert the test tip into the connector so the tester and contact are aligned straight.
- Apply force steadily and hold during the measurement.
- If the contact releases below the expected force, the retention is insufficient.
Note: Retention testers are used as a comparative inspection tool and not as a destructive pull test device.
