The HD51 hydraulic crimp tool is designed to crimp terminals onto copper and aluminum cables
using DMC’s HD51 die sets. This compact hand-held tool delivers 6 tons of crimp force and
supports conductors up to 2/0 AWG in a wide range of applications.
The HD51 also features an automatic relief valve to prevent over-compression.
Built with rugged construction and comfortable handle grips, the HD51 hydraulic crimper provides excellent
ergonomic performance. The larger and more efficient hydraulic pump system reduces the number of handle
closures required to complete each crimp.
The DMC1383 tool kit includes the HD51 hand tool and 12 dies for crimping:
- Insulated terminals from 8 to 2 AWG
- Uninsulated terminals from 8 to 2/0 AWG
- Dimensions (L × W × H): 14 × 2 × 5 in (356 × 50.8 × 127 mm)
- Weight: 4.6 lb (2.08 kg)
- Release lever for relieving crimp pressure and opening dies
- 180° rotating head for ease of use in confined work areas
